One of my letters regarding #SaveWOY got a response, this one being the hand-written one sent to Bob Iger.

"Dear Mr. Dalziel:

I will acknowledge, with thanks, your recent letter to Bob Iger concerning your ideas for a third season of “Wander Over Yonder.” I have been asked to respond on Mr. Iger’s behalf.

Unfortunately, what I must explain is that our company’s long-established policy does not allow even our most senior executives to accept for review or consideration any ideas, suggestions or creative materials not specifically solicited by us or our subsidiaries. Our intention is to avoid misunderstandings when projects are created internally which might be similar to submissions made to us from outside the company. Therefore, as required, I must return your letter, unread, and without retaining any copies.

Although our reply must necessarily be one other than what you might have hoped for, we do appreciate your interest in writing to us.

Very truly yours,

Brandon Zimmerman

As my mom put it, "Best Rejection Letter Ever!"

However, if it was truly unread, how would they have known it was about Wander Over Yonder? Well, aside from maybe the #SaveWOY I put on the envelope. I’m guessing it really was read.

Still, a response is a response! We’re making progress! I haven't received any responses from non-hand-written letters sent to the likes of Gary Marsh or Eric Coleman, but this could be a good thing. As I said to my bud Kaylee, "When Zeus doesn't hear you, you pray to Hephaestus!"
Besides, if you pray for something to be made, Hephaestus is more relevant than Zeus.

Simply put, if anyone's gonna mention the S3 hints as part of the reasons to SaveWOY to see them come to fruition, you must credit Craig and his crew and their S3 pitch a year ago so that they can try to remember that those came from them, not the fans. Otherwise, you can just say to them that you love the show and would want to see more stories with whatever Craig came up with that would surprise us either way.

I guess Bob Iger having a lot on his plate to run a BIG company with everything that he forgot about the S3 ideas months after the pitch through now (which is why he had the mail be unread to follow the policy). Gary Marsh, Marc Buhaj, and Eric Coleman at least remembered bits of the S3 pitch through now because their responsibility is on the TV sector and animated projects. So Marsh may have forgotten bits, but he still remembered the pitch and still has connections with Craig McCracken on events with him cancelling the show, and requesting him to make a new pilot for a potential new series. Buhaj did sent a Disney XD perk acknowledging one fan's support (and maybe read the hints that were from the crew), and Coleman being supportive of all of the animated shows in production and trusted Craig is at least grateful in seeing the love of Wander from the fans.

I think at least we're fine. It's a small margin of incidents that doesn't affect what the execs would do with the mails. They'll accept them read it, try and keep ones that are polite and aren't breaking policy rules. What were sent a few months ago (and the petition) are already in the company's hand to store.

So at least the S3 hints are there for a reason that we don't know what S3 is really about despite what the next arcs the mains would go through vaguely that sounds very promising, and is fine to let the execs know of those ideas Craig and his crew made. Just giving credit when it's due would avoid the rejection through misunderstandings as Disney doesn't accept outside fan ideas for legal reasons. Only ideas are made in the studio.
